Danger! High Voltage
Kuntz & Maguire - 2002
from the album Fire

Dick Valentine says: This is the first of two E6 videos directed by Tom Kuntz and Mike Maguire. It was shot in August 2002 in Toronto at a posh house in the suburbs. Principal actors include E6 frontman Dick Valentine as 'the strange man' and veteran actor Tina Kanarek as 'the crazy bird'. Also appearing in supporting roles are a skinny dog and a dead moose. As epic period pieces go, this makes a great 3 minute music video.

Formula 409
Directed by Anthony Ernst Garth - 2008
Edited by Chris Chynoweth
from the album Flashy

Dick Valentine says: The second Electric Six video directed by Anthony Garth, Formula 409 explores the theory that the men who control everything are actually lizards. And the men who control everything hate Detroit and wish that it could somehow be cleaned. It's payback time for our heroes as they reap the punishment they are owed for the last 6 years of daring to question the magnificence of George W. Bush, lizard king. Towards the end of this video, a pit bull tries to eat Dick Valentine's reproductive organs.

I Buy The Drugs
Directed by Anthony Ernst Garth - 2006
Edited by Chris Chynoweth
from the album Switzerland

Dick Valentine says: For once, my rock brothers get to join me for a little piece of the limelight. We filmed this frat party video at the only fraternity house on the Wayne State campus in Detroit. It was directed by native Detroiter Anthony Garth aka Tony Magnum. He's done videos for the White Stripes and also for hip-hop celebrities. Those are the other styles of music in Detroit besides E6. There was supposed to be a scene in this video where I vomited off the balcony. Anthony had procured a large supply of New England Clam Chowder to symoblize vomit. I don't know why we never pulled the trigger on that scene.

Gay Bar
Kuntz & Maguire - 2003
from the album Fire

Dick Valentine says: This is the second of two E6 videos directed by Tom Kuntz and Mike Maguire. It was shot in April 2003 in Toronto at a studio that was once the setting for the Wesley Snipes movie Murder at 1600. Dick Valentine is the only principal actor, but there were numerous stand-ins for the multiple Abe shots. Most of the stand-ins admitted they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. One of them said he was glad he wasn't American because he'd never be able to spend a five-dollar bill again. This video won Video of the Year honors from both Q and Kerrang!

Down At McDonnelzzz
Zac Holman - 2007
from the album I Shall Exterminate...

Dick Valentine says: This video, filmed in Cincinnati, Ohio at the helm of Zach Holman, explores the symbiotic relationship between hip-hop culture and fast food. The two need each other to survive. This duality is represented in mythology by the centaur, the ancient representation of the meeting between hip-hop culture and fast food. The human half, clad in chain mail and Vanilla Ice hair is the hip-hop....the bouncy bouncy, if you will. The equine half....the ass end, if you will.....is where fast food burgers come from. Fit for human consumption....and cheap! Horses are everywhere! And you can scoop a couple burgers out of their ass and send them back to the racetrack. They are so stupid, they don't even notice! When the two halves come together, you have a situation not unlike that of the McDonald's on Jefferson Ave..

Radio Ga Ga
Kuntz & Maguire - 2005
from the album Señor Smoke

Dick Valentine says: The final in our trilogy with directing team Kuntz and Maguire. Though some have claimed this video portrays me dancing on Freddie Mercury's grave, actually it's more like we are resurrecting Mr. Mercury for the duration of the song and his grave is the logical starting point. Anyhow, everyone knows we disliked the fact that we had to put this song on our record, so this ridiculous video took a little bit of the sting out of it for us and made it somewhat bearable. It was also very rewarding to work with dogs.

Dance Commander
Ruben Fleischer - 2003
from the album Fire

Dick Valentine says: This video is directed by Ruben Fleischer and was filmed in Los Angeles in August 2003. Director Fleischer envisioned the entire video to be kind of a 'Risky Business on acid' affair with the entire 3 minutes being devoted to Valentine destroying a house. Valentine always pictured this being a 'guerilla booty' video, with the Dance Commander character holding court in a high school gymnasium with cheerleaders, freaking them as needed. A compromise was reached and the video was shot with elements of both concepts, resulting in a video that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
